How do I know if I’m pregnant?
There are unfortunately not a lot of tell tale signs in very early pregnancy. Besides missing your period, you may notice that your breasts are quite sensitive and tender and you feel more sleepy and tired than usual. Morning sickness usually only kicks in around week 5 – 6. If you’ve done a home pregnancy test and it came out negative, back it up with a solid blood test.
Will medication taken during the first 9 weeks of pregnancy being unaware of the pregnancy affect the development of the baby and how so?
Vanessa > Most women are not aware of being pregnant up to week 6 or 7, which means most of them take some kind of medication, alcohol etc. It should be fine, depending on the type and quantity of medication you were taking. Best is to run this by your gynae.
